Hi Creative Sisters,
I can’t believe I’ve found you.
I’m such a fan. I used to tape all your shows and watch them on Saturdays and craft away. I must own every book & pamphlet your Mother published. So you can see how thrilled I was to come across your website.
I‘m retired from state government now and teach 7th & 8th grade Family & Consumer Sciences. I use a lot of your craft projects in my classes. These students crave making things with their hands and I’m so happy I can provide them skills they can take and use to be life long crafters.
Thank you for sharing your lives with us again. I’ve missed you…..Linda Farrow, Austin, TX

I used to chat on the Aleenes website, many years ago. It was soooo much fun. I went by Grammie.
I’m still crafting but live in a smaller place so am limited to what I can do. Not much storage. But I mainly like to do recycle crafts. I also still crochet.
I Love your website.

I too am an older fan from the tv series. I have a lot of the books you all published as well as the creative notebook. I recently came across the book about your mom’s life and enjoyed reading it. How is she doing now? So thankful I found your blog and have subscribed to emails.

Hi Sharon – So glad you found us! Mom is doing great. She joins us on-air every Sunday night for Inspired at Home Radio. Did you check out the Aleene Jackson Craft Museum at InspiredatHome.com? We have been digging through Mom’s archives and piecing together her incredible journey. Hope you can tune in on Sunday nights – it’s easy to listen right from your computer!

I am making your Nuts and Bolts ornaments, but in the directions listed on favecrafts, there are no patterns for the snowman’s hat, scarf, etc. Also there are no patterns for the angel’s wings, arms, etc. Could you please send these patterns to me at the listed email address. I just think these ornaments are so cute. I can’t wait to finish them.
