GRASONVILLE, MD – Saturday afternoon – Our friend Candace Jedrowicz was a regular at our weekly Laugh & Craft sessions at the Inspired at Home East Coast Studio until she moved to Utah. [Boo hoo!!!]  But, the good news is that we get to keep in touch through e-mail and the radio show!  Candace J just recently introduced us to Carol Owen’s book Crafting Personal Shrines and asked us to see about getting Carol on the show! [Which we are doing!).  Candace J says that she loves the idea of shrines and had always intended to make one, but never got focused enough to do it…until now! Here’s her shrine and her inspiration!

On my last birthday I was given a musical card with a dancing hamster on the front.  I loved it enough to want to make something with it. And here it is!  A shrine to making your own fun.  The inside photos are of my father’s mother and her friends.  She was the chronicler in her group, like I’ve always been.  The photo inside the door is of a trip I took with the friends that sent the card. Thanks for letting me share! >>Candace J
