Ceramic Arts – Rich with History
GRASONVILLE, MD – Monday afternoon – A lot of our Inspired at Home listeners may not realize that my sister Heidi Borchers is very active in the creative field of ceramic arts. She used to own a paint-your-own-pottery studio in Cambria, CA but after she closed that business, she moved all of her ceramic arts supplies and kiln to her home studio where she keeps her kiln busy creating her own line of ceramic pieces called “Ceramic Cookies”. Always colorful and playful, Heidi’s Cookies look good enough to eat but work best when used creatively. They make a great addition to mixed media, canvas projects and more!
As many of our listeners/readers know, I Love to Create manufacturers and distributes our mother Aleene’s products and the Crafty Chica products, but what they may not know is that I Love to Create Duncan Ceramic Arts has been selling to the hobby ceramic market for over 63 years.
I wanted to learn a bit more about the ceramic arts market so I asked Heidi how she was first introduced to Duncan Ceramic Arts and I also spoke with Dean Saether from ILovetoCreate and we had a great chat! Listen to the podcast report – GO>>
