I Love My Aleene’s Tacky Glue
GRASONVILLE, MD – Monday morning – There’s nothing better than Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue for your basic crafting! This project is one of those “make it in less than 30-minutes” projects which I just LOVE! On last week’s Inspired at Home Radio show, Candace talked about K & Company’s punch out paper flowers, so we made a trip to A.C. Moore to pick up a couple of pads (along with a shopping cart filled with other gotta haves!).
The hardest part of this project is picking which color flowers that you want. This raspberry and orange combination really caught my eye. I punched out 4 different sizes in this color, bent them at the score lines and glued the layers together with Aleene’s Tacky Glue. Just set the flower aside to dry while you paint the frame. I chose Delta Ceramcoat Calypso Orange for the frame. Paint the front and the back – using a hair dryer to speed up the drying process. Next, I went to the button jar and picked out some “pinkish” and “coralish” buttons and used my Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue to glue them on the front of the frame. Oh – and don’t forget to glue a button to the center of your flower. Glue the flower on the frame and you are finished! A quick and easy and bright floral frame perfect for you or a friend! Happy crafting!>>Tiff
